Has over 21 years of management and engineering experience with 13 years in optoelectronics and 8 years in communications systems engineering. A capable goal oriented professional with demonstrated skills in marketing, optical component engineering, medical device design, and electronic design. Progressive work experience as director for product marketing, product line manager, senior engineer, and applications engineer spans indium phosphide, lithium niobate, and microelectronics technologies on numerous active and passive optoelectronics products. Holder of 6 granted patents and authored or co-authored over 18 papers and a book chapter on optoelectronic packaging. Has developed signal processing algorithms and hardware for specialized communications systems for U.S. Government customers.
Mr. Stewart W. Wilson, Principal
Has over 19 years experience in semiconductor and optoelectronic devices and over 14 industrial years experience in high optical power semiconductor lasers, LED, SLED, SOA and other related optoelectronic components. Has successfully introduced over 10 products to the market, Was a key team member that successfully obtained OTC FDA clearance for a home use light based device for two consumer products, Has successfully setup and implemented optoelectronic component manufacturing for more than five companies, Has co-founded one company that manufactures high power laser diodes, Has authored or coauthored over 19 technical publications, has obtained 6 patents and several in consumer products pending, has been a co-recipient of the prestigious R&D100 award in 1999 for a semiconductor optical modulator switch (OMS).
Dr. Anthony W. Yu, Principal
Has over 20 years of experience in laser physics, optics and optoelectronic device development. Led basic research, development and production of semiconductor and solid state laser products for applications in space based remote sensing, lidar, free space optical communications and telecommunications. Expertise extends from DFB laser modules, high power solid state lasers, to passive components and optical amplifiers. Has authored/coauthored over 30 referred technical papers and presented at international conferences and has obtained two patents and two pending patents.
